I'm Canadian and in June of 2009 I passed through West Virginia. And I have to say it was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. It weather was foggy and blew my mind away! If ever I were to move to the US West Virginia is the first place I would consider.

way cool! great video. Live out amongst the redwoods in the bay area now but miss Greenbrier County all the time. It was a nearly perfect place to grow up

Great video. I was born and raised in Harrison County WV and you better believe that i will never leave the state!!! WV is by far the best state in the country... i love it here and cant imagine why anybody would ever want to leave here

I say let the people stereotype west virginia. When I lived in Florida for 12 years I heard the stereotypes a lot as well. It keeps the state preserved from mass amounts of people moving here in return keeps out the rubbish along with that. I wish this video was uploaded in HD otherwise $.5 stars great job!

I live in Florida now, but I'm always proud to say I was born in Parkersburg, W.V. This video captures the true beauty of wild, wonderful West Virginia, although it's better to see in person. I've been to many of the places in the video, and a lot not shown, such as Hawk's Nest, Blackwater Falls, just to name a few. Maybe there could be a sequel. Thank you.

I was born and raised in Huntington, and am very proud to see a video like this. Not the stereo typical hillbilly & uneducated people, that we are made out to be. Being in the military I for the last 12 years I hear that all the time.

i love this video. l think west virgina is the nicest state ever and i just dont understand how people from other states can judge us and they have never been here, for example "The people in west virgina are a bunch of hillbillies that dont go to collage

West Virginia is the perfect state. Now we just need to get rid of all the crooked lawyers and politicians who stifle her growth and rob her people, and then it will be paradise. Unjust court rulings, overbearing taxes and regulations, coal companies with politicians in their back pockets, etc...

i live in jackson county wv and love it. i have lived here my whole life. everybody is friendly and strangers would even give you the shirts off their backs. i have visited several states in my life and `most of them are very beutiful, but the people there are b*tches. wv is my home and forever will be

I'm proud to be born and raised in WV, I stayed in WV for college, and I've found a great job in WV. I was born near Harpers Ferry, went to Marshall University, and now work at Charles Town Races and Slots (shown in the horse-racing footage) as an Audio-Video Technician. That is my story. Thank you West Virginia. Keep an eye out for a film I'm shooting and editing called "Into the Wilderness, the Story of Jesse Hughes," which focuses on the frontiersman and Shawnee history in WV. Google it!
