@skrutzblug well, the usual lyrics are "and leave it all behind" but this time he sang "and leave this shit behind" because when singing at this performance, he was showing that he felt stronger about leaving whatever "it" was behind and changed the lyrics to suit his mood and emotion. that is why they cheered.
