That's impressive, but she's buying all processed foods. No wonder they can be purchased so cheaply. How about someone who can do that with coupons for organic foods or produce? Mmhmm... I'd still rather pay full price for quality food.

I think this woman is amazing. Not only did she get all of that for a few pennies, or EVEN $50 bucks with all the newspapers, etc it is still amazing. You all say stuff about pre packaged food, but you can use those noodles to make your own meal. Those noodles were FREE!

That is great that she saves money, but the food is all prepackaged. Nothing but additives.

They did away with coupons in the flyers here.

there are also other avenues of getting sunday paper inserts you dont have to buy them, you can ask your family members to save them for you as well, but you also have to be willing to work at it for it to work.

i agree with you alot of people are not open minded these days.

One thing I would point out is that most of the things in her pantry is processed foods or foods of lower quality. You don't want to save money on trash foods and then end up spending all your money on healthy care when your 40 or 50. She is awsome for saving tons of money but your body needs quality foods not processed foods. If you stay away from the artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and petro chemical fillers, you will be able to avoid the expensive dangerous perscription drugs.

This woman is embarrassingly stingy. Whoever believes in this story Inspires scornful pity. it's just a technique to promote and sell useless products. Besides none of this is allowed at many stores.

I thought this was going to be about some really poor person who managed to get their family by on 4 dollars a week. I wasn't expecting to see a nuclear bomb shelter's worth of food for an ammount of money I wouldn't bother catching in the wind.
By: saltystuff. on 21 Feb 10, 19:00:12
...That's a lot of fucking food

@oscar615b I'm not saying that we aren't getting it for cheaper but I am just saying that she is not getting it for just 4 dollars a week, so that is sort of a lie. If they are going to flaunt these good deals, don't try to make them sound better than they are.

How much are your Sunday papers? $2 each. Wow!. So even if it did cost $20 to save $200 and a couple hours of work. That's not worth it? You must be rich...

Its not anyone's fault those? coupons were put to use. However, if more people start to do this they should shop for a greater good by donating.

Good for her, but if everyone done it bad things would happen to the economy....not that it' not in a bad state just now.

There are TONS of blogs out there now that are devoted to specific grocery stores. They have all the sales ads weekly and what coupons to use for said ads. It doesnt take long at all. You dont have to buy useless stuff, by cheap stuff you use all the time so you dont have to pay full price later.
