Notary Public Business Adds Live Scan Electronic Fingerprinting to Its Services

from: Press Release

California-based A NOTARY AT YOUR SERVICE has entered the electronic, inkless fingerprinting business. In view of current homeland security, more employers are requiring pre-employment background checks that include fingerprinting. The electronic process is fast, with submission of fingerprints transmitted directly to the California Department of Justice and the FBI. Results from these scanned fingerprints take a much shorter time period than in the past.

Salida, CA (PRWEB) March 30, 2008 -- A Notary at Your Service has, over the past four years, conducted business in Stanislaus County California (Modesto and its surrounding areas) by concentrating on notarizing legal documents and home loan documents. It recently added electronically scanned, inkless fingerprinting, commonly known as Live Scan fingerprinting.

The person's fingers are placed on a glass plate and the fingerpriints are scanned into the special software, and then submitted electronically to the State of California Department of Justice. The fingerprints can also be submitted in the same manner to the FBI.

Both the fingerprinting and the notary services can be done either at the home office or by traveling to the location of the client. The fingerprinting side of the business is Davgar Fingerprinting Services. Both services require valid photo identification. The Live Scan fingerprinting requires a Live Scan form provided by the potential or current employer.

Fees: $20.00. The fee is only for the fingerprinting services provided by Davgar Fingerprinting. Some employers choose to have the Department of Justice bill them at the end of the month. If an employer has chosen this method of payment there will be a Billing Number on the Live Scan form. If the billing number field has been completed by the employer, the client will only be charged Davgar's fee.

All legal documents, including administering oaths are witnessed and notarized by a certified and background screened notary. The electronically scanned fingerprinting is done by a Certified California Department of Justice Fingerprint Roller.
